Fr. Fabien is a priest and cofounder of INES-Ruhengeri. Before his appointment as the Vice Chancellor of INES-Ruhengeri, Fr. Fabien was the Vice-Rector Academics and Research. Also lecturer of Introduction to Philosophy and introduction to Philosophical Ethics; Coordination of shift from ordinary to modular teaching; Coordination of shift from ordinary to applied science university; Coordination of Land Tenure Regularization project, long term capacity building; Coordination different projects related to the transformation of INES-Ruhengeri into an institute of applied sciences. Among organizations worked with are different national, regional and European Universities and education institutions; Chairperson of Eastern Africa Land Administration Academic Network (EALAAN) for 2012-2013. Different trips abroad to visit different partner institutions.
October 2004 –January 2008, PhD in Philosophy at Pontificia Universta della Santa Croce, Rome. My doctoral thesis which embraces Metaphysics, Anthropology and Ethics is entitled: Le statut de l’altérité chez Joseph de Finance. The aim of the thesis was to identify metaphysical and anthropological grounds of relationship. The motivation of the thesis was the tragic situation which occurred in Rwanda and I wanted to find grounds for a sustainable “never again” as a contribution to unity and reconciliation of Rwandans and region. The thesis participated to Henri de Lubac Award in 2008 on behalf of Ponificia Università della Santa Croce.
October 2002-June 2004, Master’s of Arts in Philosophy at Pontificia Universita della Santa Croce, Rome. The main focus was to identify the grounds for relationship between human person and the social being.
