Today, 15th May 2020, students of INES-Ruhengeri who were stuck in Musanze due to COVID-19 pandemic are happy to join buses to be transported back to their respective Provinces/Districts after two months in lockdown far from their families.
The transportation plan is in line with the measures of social distancing for self-protection and protection of others against Corona Virus. And all students have face masks.
Transported students are 123 with 4 destinations; Nyagatare, Kigali, Huye and Rusizi.

INGABIRE Gisele student in level 2 she was happy and excited to go home at Rusizi “I am one of the students that were stuck in Musanze. We are now on our way home, everything was well coordinated, transport provided by INES-Ruhengeri, the police are escorting us ensuring that we have a safe trip” said INGABIRE

NIRINGIYIMANA Anastase student in Land Administration and Management.

“Finally, I am going to join the family after spending the lockdown period in Musanze” said NIRINGIYIMANA Anastase student of INES-Ruhengeri in Land Administration and Management.

Vice Chancellor of INES-Ruhengeri Fr Dr. Fabien HAGENIMANA said that academic activities are still undergoing using technology. “INES is using e-learning to support our students during this period of Corona Virus pandemic” he said
