On this Tuesday 29th October 2019, INES-Ruhengeri organized a charity action of offering food and materials to the families from Musanze, Kinigi and Nyange sectors after the incident of attach in the adjacent to the Virunga national park.
Muhawenimana from Nyangae sector in Ninda cell, his husband Ndagijimana Innocent was killed in this incident, she said that they now have security and thanked INES-Ruhengeri for a good imitative and important support to continue life.
Mr Kayishema Alexis, Deputy Vice Chancellor in Charge of Administration and Finance at INES-Ruhengeri said that it’s in the responsibility of university to support the community.
Mayor of Muzanze district, Mrs NUWUMUREMYI Jeannine, said that having institution like INES-Ruhengeri in the district is advantages not only for the studies of population and civilization in the region but also for the good examples. “INES-Ruhengeri is the first institution came to support our survivors after the incident” said Mayor. “INES-Ruhengeri is good neighour” she added
