In the line of its ambition to contribute to the welfare of Community and social development through research, consultancy and community outreach activities, INES-Ruhengeri organized a training of Traditional Healers from 10th to 15th September 2018 on the different Tailor Made Training Modules which will allow them to improve their profession and to meet standards.
When opening the training on this Monday 10th September 2018, The Rector of INES-Ruhengeri, Fr. Dr Fabien HAGENIMANA asked the traditional healers to increase the trust people have in them. “By doing your job/healing in a professional way will increase the trust people have in you.” He also request them to protect environment and share information for better serve the community.
Mr. KAJUGA Jerome from UNESCO thanked INES-Ruhengeri for organizing this important training where by the Traditional Healers will gain more to improve the service and quality in their daily activities. Jerome has requested the Traditional Healers to be clean as they deal with life of people. He also encourage them to be in cooperatives for their development.
