INES-Ruhengeri organizes second phase of training of Traditional Healers in Huye district. The training is for the Traditional Healers from Rusizi, Ruhango, Gisagara, Nyamagabe, Nyanza, Rutsiro, Muhanga, Kamonyi, Ngororero, Nyaruguru, Huye and Karongi districts.
In the line of its ambition to contribute to the welfare of Community and social development through research, consultancy and community outreach activities, INES-Ruhengeri organized a training of Traditional Healers from 26th November to 1st December 2018 on the different Training Modules which will allow them to improve their profession and to meet standards.
When opening the training on this Monday 26th November 2018, Mr. KAYISHEMA Alexis Vice Rector of Administration and Finance of INES-Ruhengeri asked the traditional healers use this opportunity and increase the trust people have in them. “By doing your job/healing in a professional way will increase the trust people have in you.” He also request them to protect environment and share information for better serve the community.
