UMUTONI Adeline was on Wednesday night 3rd April 2019 crowned Miss Bright INES 2019 bringing to an end the long time contest that had stirred debate and public interest.

She beat 13 other contestants in the final to take the crown.

UMUTONI Adeline from Applied Economics succeeds Liliane NATETE, the previous Miss INES.

The finals of the contest held at INES-Ruhengeri saw the contests strut on stage, partake in the traditional dance as well as field questions from a panel of judges testing their knowledge of social economic, science and technology issues.

After consideration of their performance on the above activities, 5 contestants made it through to the final stage; and then Miss Bright INES was UMUTONI Adeline from Applied Economics, 1st Runner up was GATEKA Filly Chersy from Biomedical Laboratory sciences and 2nd Runner up was MUHONERWA Nyiranyamibwa Paradi from Computer Science.
