Dr. NTAKIYIMANA Jean Félix Aimable is holder of a PhD degree in Educational Psychology and a PhD degree in Political Sciences: International Relations and Diplomacy respectively. He also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education in addition to a Master’s of Education and a Bachelor’s of Arts with Education. He has 15 years of professional experience including 8 years of teaching in Higher Learning Institutions, 3 years working in NGOs, 2 years of teaching at secondary school level and 2 years at Primary school level.
He is currently lecturer in the Faculty of Education at INES-Ruhengeri, teaching subjects like Introduction to Psychology, Educational Psychology, Educational leadership, management and research methodology, Guidance and Counseling, Educational Technology, Curriculum theory and development and others at undergraduate level. He has also taught a number of education-related courses at Master’s level and Postgraduate Diploma of Education in other Universities.
Dr. Jean Félix Aimable has a good publication record, including publications in local and international journals, and he supervises students’ research projects at undergraduate and Master’s level. His current research interests focus mainly on Educational Psychology, Educational Policy and administration, Special Needs Education and Educational quality among others. He has also been the Coordinator of INES Language Learning and Consultancy Center for 3 years.
