The project Umuravumba is one INES-Ruhengeri’s projects aiming to explore the INES-Ruhengeri’s botanic garden.

During this project, different active principles and compounds will be isolated from one of the most popular medicinal plant in Rwanda; the Umuravumba. The active principles and compounds will be screened against different maladies where Umuravumba is believed to be active according to Rwandese traditional medicines.
