Dr. NSANZUMUHIRE U. Silas is a PhD holder from the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands with a research project focusing on strategic mechanisms to stimulate University-Industry Collaboration in Rwanda. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a post graduate certificate in teaching and learning in Higher Education. He is currently a lecturer in the department of Enterprises Management at INES-Ruhengeri where he intervenes as a member of the teaching team for the modules of introduction to business management, advanced financial management, and intermediate accounting. Since January 2013, he has also been coordinating international-sponsored capacity building projects including Tailor-Made Training, a project entitled “increasing food security in Rwanda through the enhancement of applied science at INES-Ruhengeri” sponsored by the Dutch Government, a project entitled “Enhancement of Rwandan High Education in strategic fields for sustainable growth” sponsored by the European Commission through ERASMUS Plus Program among others.

He has fifteen years’ experience in teaching in Higher Education and academic leadership as Director of Academic Quality at INES-Ruhengeri. He also has experience in designing and monitoring the implementation of capacity building projects.
