Dear Students, You have made a great decision in choosing to study at INES- RUHENGERI. Here are the main hints which can guide you from home to the classroom:
Undergraduate admissions
Do you like to acquire a specialized higher education enhanced by research, in order to create competitive enterprises and well-paid employment? 2. Travel arrangements
If a student comes far from the Rwandan borders, a journey by airplane will be required from your country to Kigali International Airport.
In case your arrival is in advanced hours, you will need to pass the night at the local hotel or with your friend or relative if any.
If your arrival is during day hours, you will proceed by taking a taxi from the airport to the Nyabugogo bus station (about 20 minutes are enough).
Then, you take a public transport bus (several agencies are available) to Musanze bus station (2.30 hours).
From Musanze bus station to INES-Ruhengeri Campus, you can take a taxi or a motorcycle just to travel for about 10 minutes.
4. Accommodation facilities and Restauration
INES Ruhengeri is located in an area where accommodation and restoration are affordable. INES has some hostel rooms that are occupied by girls within the Campus compound while boys have accommodation near by the campus, five minutes for pedestrians. The rooms are of different levels including VIP ones. INES has a professional internal Canteen as well as others operating near by the campus premises. 5. Student Visa process
The following points must be considered in order to get a Visa:
An admission letter demonstrating that an applicant has been offered a place at INES-Ruhengeri
A recommendation letter from INES-Ruhengeri addressed to Rwanda Immigration Services.

6. Students service Offices
The campus has recruited the Dean of Students who deals with students’ welfare on daily basis. Currently, the Dean’s services are offered by Mrs. TWISHIME Hyacinthe, Tel: +250788224522, E-mail: dsec@ines.ac.rw. Do not hesitate to contact her for any welfare arrangement. In a situation when a student dies or disappears, the INES management through the office of the Dean of Students has the duty to make a follow-up and ensures that facilitation is provided accordingly.
Moreover, INES-Ruhengeri has a Students’ Union Committee office headed by the Student Guild President. This is an office that handles a lot of students’ issues without involving the INES administration unless otherwise. Its doors are open for all the students in case of any need for help.

7.INES Smart Campus
To move with the fourth industrial revolution and digital world, INES-Ruhengeri adopted technology in its academic and administrative services. Students are therefore exposed to the internet across the campus that is acquired through fiber optic. The fastest broadband free wireless internet is installed to provide students with full-time internet which does not require a password to access it. You can also access e-learning and the e-Library of INES-Ruhengeri.
8. Faith-Based Organizations
INES-Ruhengeri is a Roman Catholic faith-based institution that respects the faith of others. Students from several faiths are well received at INES- Ruhengeri and enjoy their full freedom and rights. There are many groups you can join to celebrate and grow together. Some faiths have local faith leaders who work with student groups on campus and all groups are coordinated by a permanent Chaplain. You are encouraged to join these groups.
9. Health and wellness
INES-Ruhengeri is committed to ensuring that students and the administrative staff are in good conditions for good health, hygiene, and sanitation. In order to achieve this, everyone is required to abide by the rules and regulations that govern hygiene.
For health insurance, everyone at INES-Ruhengeri uses private/public health insurance which allows him/her to get possible medical services so fast and easily. If not, the patient is requested to pay the total cost of the received clinical services. Apart from local private medical clinics and health centers nearby the Campus; there is also Ruhengeri Regional Hospital.
10. Sport and leisure
INES-Ruhengeri offers to students extracurricular opportunities for talents and lifelong skills promotion. INES has several teams including a football team, volleyball team, and basketball team, and their infrastructures. Other opportunities such as debates, Career day, Talents day, Gisubizo Cultural Troup, INES Music Band, Intercultural day, Language center, Innovation center, etc, help the students to be fit for professional life with the required knowledge and behavior.
