Miss Consolée UWAMAHORO is a Biomedical Lab Scientist specialized in Haematology and Blood Transfusion. She holds a Master’s degree of Science in Advanced Haematology and Blood transfusion following a Bachelor of Science with honour in Biomedical Laboratory Science, obtained from Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri (INES-Ruhengeri). She is currently Assistant Lecturer and Clinical attachment Coordinator in the Department of Biomedical Laboratory Science at INES-Ruhengeri, teaching undergraduate modules related to her qualifications; assisting in postgraduate/Master of Haematology and Blood Transfusion and mentor students in Clinical attachment at different Hospitals. She has a publication record in journals with moderate impact factor, and supervises research projects of student from the Department of Biomedical Laboratory Science. Her current research interests and expertise lie in Haematology (anemia, coagulation and bleeding disorders, leukemia etc...) and Blood Transfusion.
