INES-Ruhengeri is committed to implement the partnership with HÖV University

The objective of this MoU is the collaboration in educational areas of common interest, including working on programs related to Public Administration and law, capacity building, and mobility in the same fields of mutual interest for promoting quality education, cultural values, and addressing community challenges. 

“The cooperation is embedded in the country partnership between Rwanda and Rhineland–Palatinate, which is shaped by the common values of the grassroots partnership characterized by mutual respect and esteem. That is why we are committed to implementing this partnership with HÖV University”, Fr. Dr. Jean Bosco Baribeshya, Vice Chancellor of INES-Ruhengeri mentioned yesterday after signing the MoU.

This signature came after a three-day visit to INES-Ruhengeri by a delegation of 3 managers from HÖV University including Director Dr. Klaus Weisbrod, Dr. Michael Eckhardt, Lecturer and Head Further Training and International Affairs, and Dr. Martina Ludwig, Lecturer and Evaluation Coordinator.

The delegation was accompanied by Mr. Prosper Nzitonda, in Charge of the Local Government Exchange Program at Jumelage Rhineland-Palatinate and Rwanda in Kigali. 

The delegation had a seminar with INES staff and they discussed various possible projects that they may implement together to promote quality education. 

“I appreciate the good job done by INES-Ruhengeri, and I was impressed by the good hospitality we had since we arrived in Rwanda until now. We are happy to partner with you”, the Director of HÖV, Dr. Klaus said. The two parties agreed to collaborate in promoting quality education (photo / Vedaste) 

The two parties agreed to collaborate in understanding and implementing the concept of the University of Applied Sciences. They will promote teaching and learning law, public administration, and related crosscutting fields. Promotion of cultural and intercultural events including the teaching of languages will be taken into consideration among others.
