MAIN Delegates were impressed by INES's Blended Learning.

On the 9th of May 2024, INES-Ruhengeri, an institute of Applied Sciences, had the privilege of hosting the Delegation of Microfinance African Network (MAIN), a renowned nonprofit association with extensive expertise in microfinance and microenterprise promotion across Africa. The purpose of their visit was to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and explore the potential of INES-Blended Learning.


The signing ceremony took place in the E-learning Room of INES-Ruhengeri, where representatives from both institutions came together to formalize this important partnership. This collaboration signifies a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing the education sector. Together, our goals include:

- Enhancing professional education in Microfinance through our Master's program.

- Collaborating on research, publications, and public lectures focused on microfinance.

- Offering scholarships to deserving MAIN members pursuing our Master of Arts in Microfinance program.

Following the signing of the MoU, the MAIN members were allowed to tour INES-Ruhengeri, exploring our labs and classrooms.


During their visit, the MAIN Delegation was impressed by our state-of-the-art smart classrooms, which are designed to seamlessly integrate on-site and online learning experiences.

This innovative environment empowers students to actively engage in lectures, discussions, and collaborative activities, regardless of their physical location.

Blended Learning represents a paradigm shift in education, offering enhanced flexibility, accessibility, and enriched learning outcomes. By combining traditional teaching methods with digital tools, this approach caters to diverse learning styles and fosters continuous improvement.
