ANNOUNCEMENT FOR STUDENT MOBILITY FOR STUDIES

This announcement pertains to the Erasmus+ KA171
International Credit Mobility (ICM) program, a collaboration between Eskişehir
Technical University and INES-RUHENGERI. The KA171 program facilitates student
and staff mobility between European Union (EU) and non-EU countries. These
mobility projects are conducted annually on a departmental or faculty basis,
promoting international academic exchange under the Erasmus+ framework.

2. APPLICATION AND QUOTA
One (1) student from the Civil
Engineering Department will be funded under this project. Only
students currently enrolled in the Civil Engineering Department are eligible to
apply.
Application Procedure:
Applicants are required to submit the following documents to the International
Relations Unit of INES-RUHENGERI within the specified deadline:
Note: Applications submitted after the deadline
will not be considered.
3. EVALUATION AND SELECTION
The KA171 program is department-specific.
Therefore, only undergraduate, master’s, or PhD students from the designated
department may apply for the specified quota. Eligible applicants will be
assessed and ranked based on their Total Success Score, calculated
as follows:
Students selected within the quota will receive
financial grants, including individual support and travel allowances.
Evaluation Criteria:
1.
Academic Performance (GPA) – 50% of the total score
2.
Language Proficiency – 50% of the total score
3.
Additional Considerations:
o Students with disabilities (documented): +10 points
o Previous participation in Erasmus+ mobility at the same academic
level: -10 points per prior mobility instance
o Mobility in the country of citizenship: -10 points
o Failure to participate in a previously allocated mobility without formal
withdrawal: -10 points
o Simultaneous applications for multiple types of mobility: -10
points for the non-preferred option
4.
Penalties for Non-Compliance:
o Failure to attend mandatory mobility-related training/meetings without a
valid excuse: -10 points for future applications.
In cases where two or more students achieve
identical scores, priority will be determined as follows:

Higher GPA
2.
Younger age
4. GRANT SUPPORT
Selected students will receive financial support as
follows:
The Distance Calculator, accessible
via this link, determines
the round-trip distance between the student’s residence and the host
university. This distance is used to calculate the travel grant, which is a
one-time payment. Stopovers during travel do not affect the distance
calculation.
5. TIMELINE
This program is funded by the Erasmus+ Program of
the European Union. However, the European Commission and the Turkish National
