STUDENT MOBILITY FOR STUDIES ANNOUNCEMENT

This is an
application announcement for student mobility for studies carried out by Eskişehir
Technical University and INES-Ruhengeri under the scope of Erasmus+ Program.
KA171 ICM projects, which enable student and staff mobility with countries
around the world other than the member countries of the European Union, are
mobility projects carried out on a department or faculty basis, projected every
year, and also known as "International Credit Mobility.”
1. DEFINITIONS
-Student Mobility
for Studies; For one semester, students enrolled in a formal higher education
program study at the partner university. The host institution recognizes the
courses that the student accomplishes during the semester at the partner
institution.
- The duration
of the activity for student mobility for studies is one semester (5 months)
excluding travel days.
- In the student
mobility for studies – The student prepares a Mobility Agreement in which
courses to be taken is included and approved by all the sides.
2. APPLICATIONS and QUOTA
Only 1 student from the Civil Engineering Department
will be funded by the project. Only Civil Engineering Department students can
apply for this call.
Applications
will be made with the submission of the required documents to the International
Relations Unit of INES-Ruhengeri.

To get a score from the
evaluation criteria (if any suitable), the document for the relevant criteria
must be submitted
These documents
must be submitted before the deadline of the application. Any submission after
the deadline will be rejected.
*Candidate students must obtain a
valid language certificate during application. The minimum level of the student
must be equal to B2 or more than 60 out of 100. Or else, the application of the
student will be invalid.
3. EVALUATION AND SELECTION
Since the KA171
program is carried out on a departmental basis, only the relevant department
bachelor/masters/PhD level students can apply for the specified quotas. Selection
and placement among the applicants will be based on the total success score
which is calculated out of 100 as follows: %50 of GPA + %50 of Foreign Language
Score. Students placed within the quotas will be supported with grants
(individual support + travel support).

students with disabilities (provided that the disability is documented) +10
additional points will be applied.
3. 3. For
students who have previously benefited from the study or internship mobility
within the scope of Erasmus+ (2014-2020 or 2021-2027) only within the scope of
the same project type with or without grant within the same education level,
-10 points will be applied for each previously benefited activity.
3. 4. In case of
participating in mobility in the country of citizenship, -10 points are
applied.
3. 5. In case of
not participating in the mobility without submitting a withdrawal notification
in due time, -10 points will be applied.
3. 6. In case of applying for more than one type of
mobility at the same time, -10 points will be applied for the mobility that the
student will prefer.
3. 7. For students selected for mobility: In case of
unexcused non-attendance to the meetings/trainings organized by the higher
education institution related to mobility, -10 points will be applied in the
subsequent applications of the student.
Note: In case of equality of points, respectively;
- Based on the student's overall score, reductions are
made.
- If the total points are equal, the student with the
higher GPA will be given priority; if the GPA is equal, the student with the
younger age will be given priority.
4. GRANT SUPPORT
800 Euro x Per
month + Travel support ( 820 Euro)
The travel expenses
to be paid to the student benefiting from the mobility activity should be
calculated using the "Distance Calculator.” The distance calculator can be
accessed from the link below:

A distance
calculator should be used to calculate the distance between the two points from
the place of residence of the student to the place of activity. The travel
grant should be calculated using the table below. The grant equivalent of the
mileage calculated in the distance calculator in the table below is the
round-trip figure, and this amount is not multiplied by two. If the staff
member travels with a stopover, it does not affect the distance reached by the
above-mentioned distance calculation.
